Effect of catalysts prepared by sol-gel process on the react

   The catalyst of two benzyl alcohol is various. Good catalyst can not only increase the rate of synthesis of two benzyl alcohol, but also can recycle catalyst itself. However, the preparation of the catalyst itself is also a difficult problem, and today we are going to introduce the method of using sol gel to combine organic substances with inorganic substances skillfully.

  The preparation of high efficiency and high selectivity catalysts by sol-gel technology is the latest development and breakthrough in the preparation of catalysts, and is one of the active fields in chemical research. On the other hand, the formation of corresponding carbonyl compounds by alcohol oxidation occupies an important position in organic synthesis. The traditional method of oxidation of alcohols to aldehydes or ketones is achieved by the addition of stoichiometric or even excessive amounts of chemical oxidizing agents. However, traditional methods have serious drawbacks, both from an economic point of view and from an environmental point of view. The use of molecular oxygen as an oxidant for alcohols has become a hot topic pursued by chemists.
Using molecular oxygen as an oxidant, transition metal complexes are usually used as catalysts. B- two metal complexes have the advantages of easy synthesis and high catalytic activity, and they are the first choice catalysts. Therefore, we synthesized several B- two different cobalt ketone complexes, and by sol-gel method its inclusion in the SiO2, Al2O3 or TiO2 matrix, preparation of the catalyst for the synthesis of such tolerant catalysts, overcome the homogeneous catalyst and catalyst shortcomings; B- two ketone with chemical containing cobalt the reaction did not occur between the material and the matrix can be recycled, and the loss is less, the homogeneous catalyst solid can be used in industry.
 
  The catalytic performance of the catalyst for the oxidation of two benzyl alcohol by air was investigated. It was found that the rate of synthesis of two benzyl alcohol was obviously improved.
